Alone We Can Do So Little. Together We Can Do So Much.
Helen Keller
Impact 100 Indian River is a collective giving membership organization that has been empowering change in our community since 2008. Through our $100,000 grants, we have demonstrated a group of inspired women can accomplish much more than any one of us can alone.
That’s because together we become part of a greater effort, funding significant community projects through high impact grants in a way that would be difficult to do individually. Rather than traditional, individual charitable giving, we pool our resources and combine your $1,100 contribution with those of other likeminded women to fund multiple $100,000 grants.
It is also a great way to meet other dynamic, philanthropic women and make lasting friendships.
We welcome all women 21 and over to join us. Your Impact 100 membership, which is active for one year from when you join, provides for a full year of opportunities, with our grants cycle from November through April being our most active time. Our annual membership year runs from March 1 to February 28. Renew on or before your anniversary date to maintain “member in good standing” status which allows you to vote and attend member only events.
The most important aspects of the Impact 100 model
By investing $1,000 to our grant fund pool, we have a more profound impact on our community.
Every Impact 100 IR member has a vote in deciding which local nonprofits receive a $100,000 grant.
The only membership requirement is to donate and vote. You can choose to be more involved by volunteering and supporting us in other ways. Click to learn how to volunteer and support us in other ways.
Membership in Impact 100 IR is $1,100, received annually by the close of membership on February 28. The number of members in good standing determines the total funding for that grant-making cycle. Of the $1,000 portion of your contribution, 100% is combined with those of other members to create $100,000 grants. The additional $100 helps offset our administrative expenses, such as contractors, insurance, accounting, web site hosting, printing, and other expenses. All fees, including those paid to cover credit card fees, are tax deductible. Our tax ID number is 83-1598994
